William Flannery DVM
The Greatful Pet
Dr. William R. Flannery has been providing veterinary care for over 15 years in the Henderson, and Boulder City areas. Originally from Enon, Ohio, Dr. Flannery attended California University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1993 while playing on their basketball team.
Unfortunately his basketball career was cut short due to an unforseen diagnosis of a bone tumor in his ankle. After taking a short break from school while healing from his surgery he returned to school. Dr. Flannery received a Dual Major Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Biology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 1997. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After 7 years of working as an Associate Veterinarian he was able to complete his dream of opening his own practice, The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic in 2009. Dr. Flannery has always had a special interest in surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and pets, listening to music, watching movies, gardening, cooking, and fishing.
Kathi Flannery opened The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic along side her husband Dr. William Flannery in 2009. She has always had a special connection with all animals, and has always wanted to help in the best way possible. It is her goal to make sure that every pet has the best experience possible while in our care. Kathi follows her passion working with animals. She continues to provide The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic with undimensional support for her employees, clients and patients.
