Yorkshire Terrier at the Vet

At The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic the health, and safety of our patients, staff and the community is our number one priority.  In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients, pets, and our hospital team members, we are implementing the following procedures:

  • We are currently practicing social distancing and curb side service for our patients.

  • We recommend that you call the front desk when you arrive and one of our receptionists will check you and your pet in.  Please give your first and last name, pets name, reason for visit, your phone number and a description of your vehicle.

  • One of our team members will meet you at your vehicle, gather history from you and bring your patient inside to be examined by the Veterinarian.

  • We ask that you remain in your vehicle until someone comes to get you to speak with the Veterinarian.

  • Please do not congregate in front of the building, please practice social distancing while waiting.

  • All clients are required to wear a face cover/ mask.

  • Once the exam is complete you may come inside, or call the front desk to pay.

  • If your pet has an emergency during normal business hours, call our office before entering to notify us of your pets urgency.

  • We ask if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms that are linked to COVID-19: coughing, fever, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, loss of taste or smell to reschedule your appointment until your symptoms resolve, or make arrangements to have someone else bring your pet in.

We understand the changes that have developed with the COVID-19 Pandemic has made experiences frustrating, however we must follow the mandated protocols that have been recommended to us by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), CDC guidelines, and Our state governor to continue keeping everyone safe.  Please take care of yourselves and each other.
